Who is Vincent Mason?
In the vast polluted waters of country music, certain stars shine brighter, captivating audiences with their unique blend of talent, authenticity, and passion for storytelling. One such luminary illuminating the country music scene is Vincent Mason, a rising star whose songs of heartache and lost love resonate with the soul of America.
Originating from Roswell, Georgia but now operating from the heartland in Nashville, Tennessee, Vincent Mason’s journey to musical stardom is a testament to perseverance, talent, and an unwavering love for the craft. At a young age Mason considered himself destined for sports like football or basketball. Ironically, the now, 23-year-old didn’t even pick up a guitar until his senior year of high school. It was here, amidst the rolling hills and soul-stirring melodies of the South, that Mason’s love affair with country music blossomed.
Lyrics, Songs, and Nashville
Mason attended Ole Miss, where his passion for songwriting was ignited. Influenced by contemporaries like Thomas Rhett, Parker McCollum, and John Mayer, Mason’s unique flair as a songwriter reflects these diverse inspirations. However, his college journey at Ole Miss was abruptly interrupted by the Covid-19 lockdowns, prompting him to return home with a collection of original songs.
In an unexpected turn of events, Mason’s parents encouraged him to further pursue his songwriting career at Lipscomb University in Nashville. This decision marked a pivotal moment in Mason’s trajectory, setting the stage for his future success.
