Country artist Annie Bosko made an impressive mark on the music scene when she released her enticing single Neon Baby to country radio in November 2023. The track quickly became the third-most-added single at the time, showcasing Bosko’s unique blend of sultry tones and flirty lyrics. This burgeoning popularity earned her a coveted spot on Jimmy Kimmel Live! (WATCH HERE) marking her late-night television debut.

Neon Baby (Last Call)”

Continuing her creative journey, Annie Bosko has now enhanced her chart-climbing single by releasing an acoustic version titled Neon Baby (Last Call). This new rendition strips back the original to spotlight Bosko’s vocal prowess and the song’s romantic appeal. “The warmth of the track complements the seasonal shift to warmer weather perfectly,” Bosko explained. She imagines the setting as intimate, picturing herself on a stool, serenading late-night lovers in a cozy dive bar.

Behind the Music: Collaboration and Inspiration

Neon Baby was crafted alongside renowned songwriters Jeffrey Steele, known for hits like Rascal FlattsWhat Hurts The Most, and Bridgette Tatum, famed for Jason Aldean‘s She’s Country. The production duo of Derek George and Mickey Jack Cones helped bring the track to life, ensuring it resonated with Bosko’s signature neo-traditional twang and playful lyrics.

Recent Achievements and Upcoming Performances

The release of Neon Baby (Last Call) follows Bosko’s collaboration with Vince Gill on the duet Higher Ground and her earlier self-titled EP, which includes five tracks such as the original Neon Baby. Bosko’s recent performance at the Ryman Auditorium for the Walkin’ After Midnight: The Music of Patsy Cline tribute was highly praised, with ABC News/”Good Morning America” noting, “Annie Bosko wowed with You’re Stronger Than Me.”

Following her debut international performance at C2C: Country to Country in Glasgow, where she played a sold-out solo acoustic set, Bosko is scheduled to appear at the Stagecoach Festival. Her performance at the Toyota Music Den is eagerly anticipated after her recent show at the iconic venue.

Looking Ahead

As the spring and summer seasons unfold, Annie Bosko will continue to grace festival stages across the U.S., including appearances at the CMA Fest, Country Jam, Faster Horses, and Watershed Festival. With her distinctive style and heartfelt performances, Bosko is quickly becoming a staple in the country music landscape, drawing fans with her authenticity and musical charm.
