New Release “Wranglers” Set to Drop on May 3
Trailblazer and country music superstar Miranda Lambert embarks on a fresh artistic journey with Republic Records in a strategic alliance, poised to enhance her already illustrious career. Fresh off her extended 48-show Velvet Rodeo residency in Las Vegas, Lambert, the most decorated artist in Academy of Country Music history, has inked a deal with Republic Records. This collaboration will leverage Big Loud‘s expertise in Country Radio promotion and other marketing strategies, aiming to amplify her musical influence.
The upcoming single Wranglers, set to release on May 3, marks Lambert’s first solo venture since her 2022 album Palomino, which garnered critical acclaim and nominations from the GRAMMYs, ACM, and Country Music Association.
Excitement for the New Musical Journey
Miranda Lambert expresses her renewed passion for music, sparked by her new partnership. “Being with Republic Records has reignited a fire within me, and this new music feels like it resonates with my earliest hits,” Lambert shares enthusiastically.
Monte Lipman, Founder and Chairman of Republic Records, celebrates Lambert’s joining the label, noting her legendary status as a storyteller and performer. Jim Roppo, President and COO of Republic, also highlights Lambert’s continued evolution as a musician, eagerly anticipating the unique elements she brings to her upcoming projects.
A New Era of Empowerment in Music
For Lambert, this represents a pivotal era, especially as a woman in the music industry. Her upcoming track Wranglers embodies a narrative of empowerment and reclaiming one’s strength. Lambert describes the song as a blend of personal empowerment and a touch of retribution, reminiscent of her earlier hit Gunpowder & Lead.

Anticipated Performance at Stagecoach Festival
Before her new single’s release, Lambert is scheduled to perform at the renowned Stagecoach Festival on April 27. Her performance will be live-streamed on Amazon Music, allowing global fans to participate in the event. Additionally, the complete set will be available on SiriusXM’s The Highway.
Strategic Expansion and Upcoming Tours
In November, Lambert, along with Jon Randall, announced their partnership with Seth England and Big Loud Records, creating Big Loud Texas. This move represents a homecoming for Lambert, allowing her to reconnect with her roots and draw inspiration from her earliest influences in music.
Miranda Lambert also announces a return to touring, with performances scheduled from July through September, including major festivals like Rock the Country and Calgary Stampede.
This new phase in Lambert’s career not only promises exciting new music but also a deeper connection with her roots and her fans across the globe.
