Despite the challenging chapter with Warner Brothers that followed, which inspired the song Six Dollar Check, Leming’s resolve never wavered.

In his mid-20s, Leming formed Josiah & the Bonnevilles, securing a residency gig in Los Angeles that was instrumental in honing their sound.
